John has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, starting his career at a well known high street bank …

He then went on to work for a large regional Independent Financial Services company for 12 years before starting Hazelton Mountford Jefferies Ltd in 2010. John prides himself on giving a very high standard of personal service to every one of his clients, providing individual plans to ensure they meet all of their financial goals. John believes every client has their own individual, unique requirements and spends a great deal of time and effort to ensure these needs are assessed and understood before providing a suitable recommendation.

 

John is married with 2 children. He has lived in Bromsgrove all his life and enjoys all sports especially golf.

Jim started his career in Financial Services in 1980 with Legal and General in central Birmingham servicing the mortgage sector of the industry …

In 1987, following a very successful apprenticeship, Jim joined a fast growing regional insurance broker covering the Herefordshire/Worcestershire region at the very early stages of them setting up a Financial Services division. Jim became Sales Director of the division and spent 21 years there, only moving on when the business was sold so that he could get back to a customer connected business.

Jim specialises in Employee/Director benefits including Workplace Pensions/Auto Enrolment, Healthcare and Group Life/Critical Illness schemes and all aspects of the various retirement options.

Jim is a big fan of Formula 1 from the ‘golden era’ having met many of the latter day drivers through the work that he has been involved with. His other passion is rescued Lurchers.

Tracy has over 19 years experience within financial services industry She joined Hazelton Mountford in 2011, previously working for a major broker as a Financial Adviser and managed their Mortgage Department for many years …

She is Diploma qualified and whilst offering advice in many aspects of financial planning she has a wealth of mortgage knowledge.  Due to her expertise in this field she has completed interviews for Sky News in the past on the mortgage market.

She understands the need for a holistic approach to financial planning and prides herself on offering a high level personal service.

Tracy lives is Worcester and is married with two children.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and cycling.


Angela Colston - Hazelton Mountford Jefferies Financial Services

Angela joined us in 2016 as part of the Financial Services team …

Angela has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. She has worked with both John and Jim before, in a previous post, so has hit the ground running with this role.

Although she holds her FPC 1 and FPC 2 qualifications she believes that the long-service and varied experience she has had in financial services is invaluable for her everyday work load of processing new applications, reviews, renewals and correspondence and particularly when assisting with new and existing client enquiries and liaising with the vast number of pension and investment providers.

Angela has lived in Worcestershire since 1988, having spent some 8 years living in Germany, but originally comes from Basingstoke, Hampshire.


Helen Stark - Hazelton Mountford Jefferies Financial Services

Helen joined us in 2016, assisting the Financial Services team …

Having previously had over 10 years experience as a legal secretary specialising in conveyancing and commercial property law, before having a break from office life for 4 years since having her daughter.

Helen now wishes to further her administration skills and progress in the direction of financial services and is looking forward to becoming part of the team and new challenges ahead.

Helen lives in Grimley with her partner and daughter and in her spare time enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with family and friends and walking her two Jack Russell dogs.
