Following a review with ourselves, a motor body repairer was found to be inadequately insured. We took the time to understand their business and explain to the client the way their sums insured should be calculated, this highlighted that the Machinery and Contents were not adequately covered. We also arranged a rebuild valuation of their buildings which identified that these were also under-insured. Even after the cover was corrected, our proposal included a considerable saving on their current premium spend.
