Hazelton Mountford proudly commemorate our 15th year in the insurance industry.
Established in 2008 by Group Managing Director Gordon Hazelton, the company’s journey began with a vision to offer business clients the expertise of large corporate insurance brokers while delivering the personalised service and value for money synonymous with smaller independent businesses.
From its humble beginnings with just Gordon Hazelton and one assistant in a modest two-room office in Droitwich, Hazelton Mountford has rapidly grown into a significant insurance brokerage, now controlling in excess of £13.6m premium income. The unwavering commitment and dedication of the founding team, along with the invaluable addition of Jake Mountford a few months later, have been instrumental in driving the company’s success.
Today, Hazelton Mountford boasts a team of approximately 30 highly skilled professionals spread across their head office in Worcester City Centre and the latest branch in Evesham, which was inaugurated amidst the challenges of the 2020 lockdown. Simeon Chapman, the third Board Director, plays a crucial role in the company’s strategic growth.
Over the years, the company has expanded through strategic acquisitions, including the incorporation of Michael Rollett & Co, a well-established Pershore Insurance Broker. This addition seamlessly aligned with Hazelton Mountford’s commitment to providing exemplary care and service to their clients, ranging from local tradesmen and SMEs to large multinational corporations.
