We’ve recently been issued with a Binding Authority to quote and issue their own insurance policies for property owners, managing agents and blocks of flats.

Hazelton Mountford have been handed a ‘Binding Authority’ from AGEAS, a major global insurer, to write their own policies for property owners. This means that not only can they broker the best policies from other insurers, they can also now write their own policies for residential lettings, blocks of flats and commercial properties.

Managing Director, Gordon Hazelton, says:

“We now have a lot of flexibility in terms of providing the right insurance policies for our clients. The new policy wording has been designed by me, based on 30 years’ experience in this sector. Many policies don’t give all the cover that’s needed. The HM Property Policy plugs these gaps.”

Gordon is known nationally as an expert in the Property Sector and is also a Chartered Insurance Broker. The Binding Authority allows Gordon and the team at Hazelton Mountford to tailor a package for the individual landlords or large property portfolios.

Gordon continues:

“Simply, this means that we can now provide in-house quotes and be very competitive, particularly for blocks of flats and portfolio landlords.”

The team at Hazelton Mountford has also recently announced the launch of its new offices in Evesham and the Isle of Man, along with successfully moving across to homeworking in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
