NEW APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS AT CHARTERED INSURANCE BROKER

The only Worcester insurance broker to be awarded chartered status has announced a series of new appointments and promotions at its headquarters in Bank Street.
Hazelton Mountford – the only chartered insurance broker within 15 miles of Worcester – has welcomed two new members of staff following a successful recruitment drive.
Jess Price and Sophie Anderson have both joined the 30 strong team, Jess as an Account Executive and Sophie as a Referencing Administrator.
Jess, who is 27 and lives in Pershore, manages commercial insurance clients, which involves maintaining existing business as well as developing new leads.
She said : “I am thoroughly enjoying the new challenge of my role at Hazelton Mountford; I am driven to be successful and want to continue to learn and develop to become the best I can.”
Sophie has joined the referencing team, an arm of the company that ensures tenants have been thoroughly screened allowing letting agents and landlords the peace of mind to know their tenants have the ability to pay their rent.
Alongside the new recruits, Steph Hilton-Turvey has been successful in securing a promotion to become Referencing Supervisor.
The company – which was launched by Gordon Hazelton and Jake Mountford – has seen phenomenal growth since it first opened its doors in 2008. From small beginnings, the company now employs 30 employees across its three companies within the group.

The company – which provides insurance in a number of sectors including business, property, transport and equine – works with a range of clients from small local charities to international corporate firms.
The company has ambitious growth plans over the next few years including opening new offices and recruiting more employees.
The board of directors is made up of Gordon Hazelton, Managing Director, Jake Mountford, Director and Simeon Chapman, Director.
