Certificate of Insurance awarded to Hazelton Mountford duo

Hazelton Mountford are celebrating further success with two more team members completing qualifications in insurance.

Sophie Gibbins and Lucy Henderson recently passed their Certificate in Insurance, which is a qualification that develops core knowledge and confidence of the key disciplines of insurance.

The framework is delivered by the Chartered Institute of Insurance, who state:

“It provides a grounding in basic general insurance principles including the regulatory environment, key disciplines of underwriting and claims, in addition to popular products such as motor, household, healthcare and packaged commercial insurances.”

Sophie says: “I started my insurance career at Hazelton Mountford and they have always been encouraging when it comes to pursuing qualifications. It was good to go through my exams at the same time as someone else so we could support each other through the process. Completing this qualification has boosted my expertise and confidence and I’m looking forward to doing some further learning.”

The qualification takes around 12-18 months to complete and both Sophie and Lucy undertook their studies whilst working full time at Hazelton Mountford.

Director, Simeon Chapman, says that: “We are really proud of their achievement. Both ladies have studied alongside a busy job and home life.  The understanding and discipline that the study produces sets them in good stead for fruitful careers.”
